Additional Specialized Squids

In any case, continuing on... the device which Nhimor is currently using to transmit these video messages is a specialized model called a tridenthead. I happen to have a couple of them gestating in capsules in this very lab.

The one on the left is decently far along in development, while the one on the right still has quite some time to go, as you can see.

We designed Tridentheads in order to assist people with tasks that require a deeper level of precision, and complex processing capabilities. Among other features, they're equipped with some of the most nuanced telekinesis known to science, letting them manipulate objects that are mere micrometers in size! I've heard of Tridentheads being used a lot by surgeons, engineers, programmers, and even the occasional artist.

I pretty much got one just cuz I thought it looked cool. Mostly I just use it to browse the internet or beam cool music directly into my head.

I...suppose those are also valid ways to enjoy an advanced scientific instrument...

Now, I'd be quite a bit more concerned if you were using one of these models too carelessly.

Woah! It's one of the big guys!

A macehead, yes. And it's coming along quite nicely, if I do say so myself!

What this model lacks in subtlety and precision, it more than makes up for in raw power and durability! No other spearhead type has as much physical strength or sheer psionic energy output as a macehead. As you can imagine, these are made especially with security and combat purposes in mind, trading away most other applications in exchange for optimal performance in battle. We're looking at a device that can give some of the Cybers' stronger Constructs a run for their money! It can apply over 6 tons of psionic force to an object, and its beam weaponry is–

Okay, geez, I get it. Guess I'm not gonna try sending my squid out against yours in a deathbattle any time soon! Apparently I wouldn't stand a chance!

...please don't ever actually use spearheads for deathbattles against each other, that sounds exceedingly dangerous...
