Into the Calcified Forest

So here's what the buns said about what went down: a little after I disappeared inside the other blob's body, the buns started feeling the same stuff I did! The warm fuzzy feeling I was hanging onto, the images of them and how much they meant to me... all of it reached them. And right when that happened, the big mean blob also started screaming in terror, and ran away, leaving behind a tiny little glob of myself behind.

When I focused on my new friends and how I wanted them to be safe, our minds all kinda touched - and that big jerk got completely taken by surprise by what was happening! And let me tell you, if you're on Syndomera and something catches you by surprise, the first thing you find yourself doing is running away as fast as possible.

Records refer to this event as the first known instance of direct psionic communication between ozecium cells and eukaryotic life forms.

It's just kinda sad to think about that other blob... because the thing they were scared of was actually nothing scary at all. Just cuz something is new and maybe kind of confusing at first, doesn't mean it's bad. If I didn't learn that, I might have spent the rest of my life in this dump, not even knowing what I was missing!

So after that, the buns nursed me back to health by feeding me all their food, and then eventually they took me back to ARTRODUS and the rest is history.

Alright, back to now! While I was reminiscing about all that with you, Ive also been making my way somewhere I want to show you in the present. We're still not there yet, but we're getting close!

This place sure is still the same wasteland it's always been. But sometimes it's still kind of pretty.

When I was younger I had no idea these were white pillars were supposed to be trees by the way. They just kinda looked like funny tall rocks to me? The whole entire idea of living trees with leaves and stuff was another thing I learned about when I left this place.

Photosynthetic plant life has not existed in this surrounding vicinity for approximately 4000 years. The destroyed caelestian weaponry in front of us is nearly identical in age to these arboreal remains around us, suggesting both were destroyed in the same event.
